The Studio

Kate Archibald is a multi-disciplinary designer and interior architect with a deep love for craft — the kind that brings people, materials, and ideas together in ways that spark something unexpected.

Kate brings a wealth of knowledge to her work — a dual lens of study across jewellery and interior architecture, and 16 years of experience across some of Australia's leading design and architecture firms: Foolscap Studio, Techne Architecture and Interior Design, and Bates Smart.

Working from her studio just outside Byron Bay, Kate's work spans boutique hospitality, retail, and residential projects across the country — as well as commissioned jewellery, lighting, and furniture. It's all connected by the same eye for craft and detail.

For Kate, every project is a collaboration — between her, her clients, and the local designers and craftspeople who help make each outcome truly one of a kind.
